Chesterfield MO is a city in west St. Louis county, Missouri that has been growing in recent years for several reasons including being the fastest growing suburb of Saint Louis.
Annual events and amenities: The city puts out a yearly events booklet and it is quite extensive (though by no means all-inclusive) with listings of major annual festivals and special community activities such as food drives and health fairs taking place at different times during the year. These include such things as 4 July Celebrations, Chesterfield Mall Concert Series (6 or 7 concerts throughout the summer), Kids Day (at which there are free pony rides), Oktoberfest Celebration, Harvest Festival, and the Holiday Tree Lighting.
The Chesterfield Amphitheater is home to several festivals throughout the year including the Blues in June, Show-Me Shakespeare Festival in August, the Craft Beer Festival also in August, and the Winter Warmer British Car Show which takes place twice a year during February and again in November.
The city has an extensive trail system that allows pedestrians access along roads closed to vehicular traffic. There are nearly 20 miles of trails circling through parks and at different points around Chesterfield providing great views.
